Gli Handshake<\/strong> nascono nel 2015 da interminabili e sudatissime Jam di studio dove un\u2019anima psichedelica e ascolti di un certo tipo hanno aiutato a forgiare il sound e la verve stilistica di questa giovanissima formazione Fiorentina che inizia oggi un percorso che si svilupper\u00e0 cercando di abbattere le frontiere geografiche, puntando sin da subito ad un contesto internazionale.<\/p>\n

An Ice Cream Man on the Moon<\/strong> \u00e8 frutto della necessit\u00e0 sempre pi\u00f9 prorompente di esprimersi direttamente e senza compromessi, in un mondo che lo concede sempre meno. Mischiando la semplicit\u00e0 comunicativa con la complessit\u00e0 di alcuni momenti e pensieri, il tutto \u00e8 colorato allo stesso tempo da malinconia, gioia e speranza.<\/p>\n

Dopo i classici ascolti \u201ccolti\u201d ed assolutamente non rinnegabili, come Pink Floyd<\/strong>, The Beatles<\/strong> e Radiohead<\/strong>, gli Handshake<\/strong> ascoltano e si lasciano affascinare da tutto ci\u00f2 che di pi\u00f9 sincero e vero hanno da offrire i nostri tempi, come gli ultimi album di St. Vincent<\/strong>, Arctic Monkeys<\/strong> e Djo<\/strong>, uniti a precedenti certezze come Tame Impala<\/strong>, Pond<\/strong> e Verdena<\/strong>. Sono queste le vibrazioni che hanno contribuito a far nascere \u201dAn Ice Cream Man on the Moon<\/strong>\u201d in un\u2019atmosfera resa calda e magica da Samuele Cangi<\/strong> (produttore artistico di tutti i brani) e dal Blue Moon Rec Studio<\/strong> di Firenze<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Testi in lingua inglese, tanta energia e coinvolgimento emotivo sono le parole chiave di questa band nella quale coesistono psichedelia pop ed elettronica, alternative rock anni \u201890 dotato di riff energici ed efficaci e bellissime melodie per un risultato pi\u00f9 che credibile e accattivante fin dai primi ascolti.<\/p>\n

L\u2019album verr\u00e0 pubblicato su CD, Vinile e digitale da Urtovox rec<\/strong> il prossimo 24 Gennaio, con distribuzione Audioglobe\/The Orchard.<\/p>\n

Il 6 dicembre \u00e8 uscito un ulteriore singolo, “Stuck<\/strong>“, accompagnato da un video \u201dLive Session<\/strong>\u201d tratto da \u201dThe Moon Sessions<\/strong>\u201d realizzate a Firenze<\/strong> lo scorso ottobre.

A seguito del passaggio radiofonico della BBC Radio London<\/strong> del singolo \u201dbold\/\/brash\u201d<\/strong>
\navvenuto lo scorso 16 novembre si consolidano i presupposti che vogliono la band live a Londra<\/strong> a Dicembre in occasione di 3 concerti promozionali:<\/p>\n
